My Free Gantt Chart is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

No Account Required

Our service does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal information. You can create and use Gantt charts completely anonymously.

Information We Collect

Chart data: The tasks, groups, dates, and other content you enter into your Gantt charts are stored on our servers so you can access them later. This data is associated with randomly generated tokens, not with any personal identity.

Server logs: Like most web services, our servers automatically log basic request information such as IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging, and are deleted after 30 days.

Local storage: We store edit tokens in your browser's local storage so you can return to your charts. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share a chart link.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the Gantt chart service
• Generate PDF exports of your charts
• Enable sharing features when you choose to use them
• Monitor for abuse and maintain security

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties. Chart data is only accessible via the unique URLs generated for each chart. If you enable sharing, anyone with the share link (and password, if set) can view the chart in read-only mode.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only client-side storage we use is browser local storage for your edit tokens.

Data Retention

Charts that have not been accessed for 12 months may be deleted. You can export your chart as a PDF at any time to keep a permanent copy.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. Since we don't collect personal information, there is no age-specific data to protect.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
